We finally achieved our final result after a lot of trial and errors with repeated temperature, humidity adjustments, fermentation period and countless flavour tasting. We know a lot of the fermented beancurd sold on the market have been sterilised with high temperature so it’s more convenient to sell. Most of it taste bland, feel dense and lose the characteristics of tofu.
Our Natural Fermented Beancurd contains active enzymes as we do not sterilise our products with high temperature. Enzymes not only helps to bring out the umami taste, it’s also a well-known ingredient used to promote digestion.
This product is fully fermented, made with natural ingredients and sweet, free of preservatives, colourings, seasonings, essences, sugar and MSG.
Note: White spots/particles are saturated amino acid crystals and can be consumed safely.
