Chilli pepper, known for its fiery sharpness, is ideal for spicy dishes with poultry, beef or pork. Also used to round off curry dishes and, of course, chili con carne. Sprinkle on pizza and salads. Add to pickling brines, chowders, gumbos, sauces, sausages, omelettes, and marinades. One 1/2 teaspoon is equal to one small chilli. To bring out more flavour, bloom Crushed Red Pepper Flakes in oil over medium low heat before using.
